Digital Illustrator

1988 – Present

Born in Riverside CA, grew up in Ashland OR. Currently studies Digital Arts at University of Oregon in Eugene OR. Focus on print-based work created with blends of various media. Emphasis on the use of paint, photographs, and vector graphics. Big artistic influences include Alex Grey, Salvador Dali, Mati Klarwein, and Vladimir Kush among others. Strong interest concerning natures of reality broken down into opposing forces, focusing on the dynamic energy created by the existence of opposites and the charge between them. Surreal vs concrete, limiting vs infinite, intricate vs plain. Ultimately the vision undergoes an articulation of the notion that what we perceive as reality constantly changes as we do.

“Life moves on, whether we act as cowards or heroes. Life has no other discipline to impose, if we would but realize it, than to accept life unquestioningly. Everything we shut our eyes to, everything we run away from, everything we deny, denigrate or despise, serves to defeat us in the end. What seems nasty, painful, evil, can become a source of beauty, joy, and strength if faced with an open mind. Every moment is a golden one for him who has the vision to recognize it as such. ” -Henry Miller
